Life in a modern city is hard to imagine without people chasing personal bests, finding new passions, and squeezing a workout into even the busiest schedule.
As for me, sport has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Running has always been my happy place — and in Doha, a jog along the Corniche is one of life’s simple luxuries.
Recently, though, another love entered the picture: yoga.
And if we’re talking about the best place to practice yoga in Qatar, my vote goes to Yalla Yoga. A beautiful studio in West Bay, an incredible atmosphere, and teachers who somehow make every class feel inspiring, challenging, and fun all at once. Trust me on this one.
I signed up for yoga, but that’s not all I came away with!
What I didn’t expect was that Yalla Yoga would give me much more than a new hobby. It introduced me to a community of kind, wise, fascinating people, sparked friendships I truly value, and, as a photographer, inspired more than a few unforgettable yoga photoshoots.
Sometimes you come for the workout — and leave with so much more.
P.S.: The Photoshoot for yoga teacher Natascha. You can find her classes on the Yalla Yoga App.
